When a friend from Fonoradar Records asked me to design a cover for Columbus Duo — not only a band I really like, but also two friends for whom I once organized a gig — I knew it would be both fun and an honor. I’ve always wanted to design album covers, but I usually didn’t have the time — and, honestly, no one ever really asked me to. Anyway, in this case, the guys suggested using a vintage illustration from an early 20th-century medical book as the main theme. I recreated it using some Photoshop tricks, experimented with liquid imagery, added a touch of old-print raster style — and here we are. By the way, definitely check out Suprematist on Bandcamp.
